How to use COUNT Functions in Excel



HOW TO USE COUNT FUNCTIONS IN
MICROSOFT EXCEL


COUNT Function is being used to count the numbers values in selected range. To get the count, we enters the formula =COUNT(Range of Data)


COUNTA Function is being used to count the numbers & text values in selected range. COUNTA Function is also being used same as COUNT.

For Example: =COUNTA(Range of Data) 



COUNIF Function is being used to count the numbers & text values in selected range with a condition. Syntax for COUNT function with IF condition is =COUNTIF(Range of Data,Condition)



COUNIFS Function is being used to count the numbers & text values in selected range with multiple conditions. Syntax is =COUNTIFS(Range1,Condition1,Range2,Condition2,...) 


COUNTBLANK Function is being used to count the black cells in selected range. Syntax to count the blank is =COUNTBLANK(Range)
